Heart of the Valley, SERVICES FOR SENIORS, Inc., is a non-profit, publicly supported 501(c)(3) corporation, committed to facilitation and supporting independent living for seniors in the following communities:

Heart of the Valley performs a wide variety of single and short-term services and provides a link to additional community resources and services by referral.

Through the utilization of dedicated, talented and caring volunteers, Heart of the Valley provides services to those that are 59 years of age or older, who want to live independently and who need support and assistance in some of their daily activities to enable them to do so.

Short-term and single services include:

Escorted Transportation

Shopping

Errands

Handyman Services

Paperwork and Telephoning

Computer Support

Advocacy

Visitation

Friendly Phone Calls

Light Yardwork

House Projects

We will act as a liaison between children who may live out of town and their parents, escort a senior to lunch, dinner or a movie.

Heart of the Valley seeks funding by donations and grants from private individuals, corporations, governmental, and philanthropic organizations as well as establishing sliding scale charges for services provided. Donations are accepted for all single services.
