Heart of the Valley Parking Lot Sale a Huge Success!!!

First, all of the volunteers who rose to the occasion by picking up client donations, helping to tag and price the goods, helping on the day of the sale and cleaning up  -  Great Job!

Secondly, the overwhelming generosity from Heart of the Valley clients, volunteers, friends and families who donated goods for the sale which included clothes, books, small appliances, sporting goods, TVs, lots of furniture and even a violin along with many other items.  We especially want to thank Business & Escrow Service Center who donated many items of furniture and filing cabinets.  We were able to utilize many of their bookcases and filing cabinets in our office. Throughout the day we had a steady flow of customers making purchases.  At the end of the day, Heart of the Valley made close to $2,000 from this sale!!!  And, we are planning to sell some of the remaining furniture on Craigslist so that number will raise even higher.

We want to thank the Santa Clara Weekly for giving us much needed advertising at a very reduced rate!  We appreciate your support over the years for all we do for our seniors.All of this to benefit our deserving Heart of the Valley senior clients! Thanks again to our volunteers and clients.  This sale couldn't have been such a success without your hard work and support.
