Professional Support

Responsibilities:
* Use your professional expertise to assist clients in specialized fields such as Medicare, Medi-Cal, renters and homeowners assistance, taxes, housing, pet care, health insurance, pharmaceutical help, real estate, financial planning and counseling.

Qualifications:
* Friendly and caring concern for elderly.
* Professional background, training and expertise in a particular field.
* Be familiar with agency services and community resources.
* Willing to complete reports on volunteer work.
* Supportive of agency goals and services.

Time: According to Volunteer's schedule

A good placement for those who want to utilize their professional training and experience to help older persons in need.

All volunteers who drive on agency business, i.e., to and from agency office or client's homes, or who take clients in their automobiles must maintain a good driving record and must maintain a current California Drivers License and a minimum of $25,000/50,000 public liability in car insurance (current state minimum) at all times while working as a volunteer for the agency.
