Just because you're a student leading a busy academic life doesn't mean you can't enjoy the rewards of volunteering. Get in touch with your elders!

Here's what you could do:  

Transportation (with valid Driver's License and proof of insurance and if you’re over 21) Come on, you love to drive!

Shopping (either with or for the client)
Please, shopping as work. That's cool.

Yardwork / Gardening
Don't have your own garden or yard at the dorms, take care of someone else's.

House Projects
Ok, this isn't the most fun but it comes with lots of appreciation.

Write Letters / Make Phone Calls
Improve your skills for later big business employment.

Respite (stay with homebound so that their caregiver can take a little time off) Doesn't this sound helpful?

Companionship / Friendly Visitor
Everybody needs new friends, especially those with a lifetime of knowledge.

Pet Care
Who doesn't love pets?

Auto Care / Service (wash a car or take it to be serviced)
Especially great for guys ... men love cars.

Entertainment Companion (movies, sporting events, dinners, lunches) Getting dates doesn't get any easier when your older. Stop going to the movies alone!
