Heart of the Valley held it's 21st Annual Meeting at the beautiful Santa Clara Senior Center on February 25, 2008.  Our theme this year was "Those Who Share, Care." It was a wonderful time to honor our team of caring and dedicated volunteers, our benefactors, community representatives and members who continue to provide support for the volunteer services we provide to the older adults living in our community.

Heart of the Valley works with the City of Santa Clara in their efforts to provide subsidized rides for their residents utilizing Heart of the Valley for their transportation needs.

Orchard House, Inc. continues to provide support for our computers and system management.  Orchard House provides a Grant Writer to help us locate and obtain future funding.

Heart of the Valley continues its vehicle donation program.  If you have a vehicle to donate, please contact Jim Adams at (408)605-3838.

Heart of the Valley also has computers to give away to seniors who would like one.  Call our office at (408) 241-1571

Heart of the Valley is proud of it's collaboration with Silicon Valley Power to offer the "Green Light Project."  Seniors received free Energy Saving Bulbs and many had them installed by Silicon Valley Employees.  Our appreciation goes to Mike Vitirelli and his wonderful crew for accomodating our clients!

Heart of the Valley has been invited by Professor Barr to participate in his Santa Clara University Marketing and Communications Class.  The class will develop a business plan for our agency .  We are all looking forward to the great ideas they present.
