Volunteers are at the heart of all that we do all year round. The specialized skills and friendly “can-do” attitude offered by our volunteers are what enable us to provide services to our senior community on such a large scale. With a small part time staff of three, volunteers are crucial not only in the field with our seniors but also working in our office, supplying their expertise on special projects and serving on our Board of Directors.
Because our volunteers are actively engaged in being the change they want to see in the world, they give us the capacity to expand our services and programs to the benefit of our clients. All of us at Heart of the Valley are so humbled and grateful that our volunteers stand with us to support senior independence.
Thank you volunteers for the passion, kindness, and commitment you bring along with your valuable time to the seniors at Heart of the Valley. Each and every one of you brings something unique and invaluable to the clients who call for services. We hear from clients every day who tell us how caring and helpful our volunteers are. Talk about inspiring!
You are all superheroes to me. You give so much and ask nothing in return. We are so grateful for all you do and hope you continue your service with us. Always know that you are an important part of Heart of the Valley’s life-improving work!
